As you may know, we’re always on the lookout for the best places to eat and drink in Spokane and now that the sunshine and warm weather are back, we’ve put together a guide of our favorite patios in town for you to explore the outdoor dining scene!

There’s nothing quite like basking in the sun while sipping on a cold drink and indulging in some delicious food with family and friends. In this guide, we’ll take you through some of our favorite patios in town, offering everything from wood-fired pizza to craft cocktails to classic French cuisine. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to the area, we’re sure you’ll find the perfect spot to settle on a sunny day.

Flying Goat 

3318 W Northwest Blvd, Spokane, WA 99205

Located in the heart of the Audubon Neighborhood, the Flying Goat’s patio offers a perfect location to share some brews and delicious wood-fired pizza. The vibe is casual and laid-back, making it an ideal spot to hang out with friends or family.

Molé 

1335 W Summit Pkwy, Spokane, WA 99201

This Oaxacan restaurant right in Kendall Yards, a short walk from the centennial trail, is one you don’t want to miss. Make sure to sample more than one of their amazing menu options! Big fan of the tamales and house-made salsas.

Uprise Brewing

 617 N Ash St, Spokane, WA 99201

If you’re looking for a trendy spot to enjoy some craft brews and delicious food, look no further than Uprise. Their street-style inspired menu and variety of beers will tantalize your taste buds, while their outdoor patio is the perfect spot for some friendly competition with a game of cornhole.

Wooden City

821 W Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA 99201

This is one of our favorite spots in all of the city – hands down. With their impressive seasonal menu, woodfired pizza and a great atmosphere, Wooden City hasn’t let us down yet. Their outdoor dining is great for a celebratory dinner with your friends. We seriously daydream about their Hungarian Wax Pepper dishes.

Perry Street Brewing

1025 S Perry St # 2, Spokane, WA 99202

This family-friendly brewery offers a spacious patio and a variety of craft beers. With plenty of outdoor seating, it’s a great spot to enjoy a beer and some sunshine with the whole family. Don’t leave without trying their pork tacos and the seasonal rotating sour ale!

Elk Public House

1931 W Pacific Ave, Spokane, WA 99201

Located in the historic Browne’s Addition neighborhood, Elk’s patio offers a casual, laid-back vibe with a great selection of beer and pub fare. It’s the perfect spot to relax and soak up some sun after a long day.

El Que

141 S Cannon St, Spokane, WA 99201

This Mexican restaurant nestled right next to Elk Public House dons yet another incredible patio in Spokane. Order a plate of nachos all for yourself and bask in the sunshine this summer a few blocks away from Coeur d’Alene Park. 

Borracho

211 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99202

With the city’s favorite Taco Tuesday deals and a stellar patio, Borracho is sure to be on your list. They have an amazing made-from-scratch menu that you will have a blast enjoying with your group. Don’t miss the churro bites and specialty cocktails!

Wisconsinburger

This local favorite near South Perry is known for its juicy burgers, brats, and extensive beer list. Their outdoor patio is the perfect spot to enjoy a classic burger and some cold brews while soaking up the Spokane sunshine.

Downriver Grill

If you’re looking for a more upscale outdoor dining experience, Downriver Grill in the Audubon neighborhood has you covered. Their Pacific Northwest-inspired menu and extensive wine and cocktail list make it a perfect spot for date night or a special occasion.

Chaps Diner and Bakery

4237 Cheney Spokane Rd, Spokane, WA 99224

This cozy cafe is a Spokane favorite near Eagle Ridge, with an outdoor patio that’s perfect for enjoying some coffee and homemade pastries. Their American cuisine with a twist is sure to please, while the intimate atmosphere is ideal for catching up with friends or family.

Rockwood Bakery

This local favorite offers a spacious patio and a great selection of baked goods and coffee. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch with friends. End your peaceful morning in Manito with a short walk to grab a coffee.

Ladder

With the Riverside location being right on the edge of both downtown and Brownes addition and the Monroe location being surrounded by some of the best antique shops in town, Ladder patios are a known place to have a great time. Their outdoor patios are the perfect spot to enjoy some fresh-baked goods and delicious coffee, while the charming atmosphere is sure to brighten your day.

Luna 

5620 S Perry St, Spokane, WA 99223

This upscale restaurant on the top of South Hill offers a charming patio drooling with wisteria in the summer making an intimate atmosphere. Their menu features Pacific Northwest-inspired dishes and a great selection of wine and cocktails. Don’t leave without bringing home a freshly baked loaf of ciabatta!

South Perry Pizza

For some casual outdoor pizza dining, South Perry Pizza has a spacious patio and a variety of delicious pies. The friendly atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends or family. In one of our favorite neighborhoods in Spokane, it is a favorite stop on a sunny evening.

The Scoop/Hidden Bagel

This charming ice cream shop joined forces with a bagel joint and now offer a cozy patio at both locations with plenty of outdoor seating. Their homemade bagels in the morning and ice cream in the evening are a must-try. Make sure to stop in frequently to see their rotating seasonal flavors!

Whistle Punk Brewing

122 S Monroe St #4007, Spokane, WA 99201

This trendy speakeasy-style bar offers cozy alleyway seating and an extensive drink menu. It’s the perfect spot for a fun date night or a night out with friends. Nestled in downtown Spokane you have the feel of big city without the extra busyness around you.

Clinkerdagger

621 W Mallon Ave, Spokane, WA 99201

A classic American steakhouse is nestled in the historic Flour Mill, with views looking over the Spokane River. Clinkerdagger is one of the city’s favorite places to end their week or celebrate special occasions. Make sure to order the lobster tails!

Nectar Wine & Beer

Nectar carefully curates their wine and beer menus to reflect something for everyone. Their patio is just off the Centennial Trail in Kendall Yards. With a stellar happy hour, amazing nosh boards, and plenty of seating, this is always near the top of our list.

The Historic Davenport

This iconic hotel’s rooftop garden terrace is one of the best patios in the city. Boasting downtown views and specialty drinks alongside a menu that never disappoints.  Gather a group of friends for a lovely lunch out this summer!

No Li

1003 E Trent Ave #170, Spokane, WA 99202

Just a short walk from Gonzaga University, No Li is a constant hum of energy. With incredible brews and one of the best hot pretzels in the city, you need to make thier outdoor dining a part of your summer plan.

BRGR House

411 N Nettleton St, Spokane, WA 99201

This new burger spot has recently taken over the Park Lodge location. Don’t miss being in the first wave of new visitors and make sure to sit outside to enjoy the sweeping Spokane River views.
