It’s Friday night and you just Googled “Best Breweries in Spokane” the moment you got off work. Well, don’t worry–we’ve got you covered! We are here to share our favorite brewery spots for co-worker meetups, game days, and impromptu date nights.
Uprise Brewery
Uprise Brewery is the “new kid on the block” who has already earned its stripes. The brews at Uprise range from new-age IPA’s to trendy, seasonal sours. Additionally, This Spokane brewery sits just a few blocks north of Kendall Yards and features several AirBnB’s above the brewery that you can rent out if you’re here for the weekend. With its generous indoor and outdoor seating, Uprise is the perfect spot to rendezvous with your friends and family, all while enjoying an award-winning local beer. You can always find us playing games and snacking on their elevated street food menu.
No-Li Brewhouse
No-Li prides itself on being a family-owned, fully independent brewery in Spokane. Their beer is made in the artisanal, hands-on tradition of craft beer making. In fact, No-Li serves up international award-winning beer and a great atmosphere for your Friday night apps and brews. “If Spokane were a liquid, it would most certainly be our beer.” Pro tip: Make it an outing and go for a bike ride along the Centennial Trail, ending with an IPA by the river and a game of cornhole on the grass!
Big Barn Brewing Company
If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind with some friends while sipping on a handcrafted brew, look no further! Spokane’s Big Barn Brewing’s history dates back 50 years and this beautiful property has grown into a true experience. Sip on a Honey Mead Lager, pick peaches and berries through the summer, enjoy live music out on the grass, and take in the untouched scenery of the rolling Green Bluff hills. Even better, Big Barn uses grain and hops from their own farm to make their beer! Hint: Be sure to try the Dunn Day IPA–it’s a team favorite!
Iron Goat
Iron Goat is one of our team’s favorite spots for a fun atmosphere and great food! This is our go-to brewery in the wintertime because the space is perfect for indoor gatherings with long tables to sit around and a shelf full of board games, all ready to go! Iron Goat’s beers are meticulously crafted with constant experimentation, trying different hop choices and seasonal ingredients. Lastly, their brewers are always taste-testing to ensure you get a fantastic beer in your pint glass. Fun fact: Iron Goat’s current building used to be a school for mechanics and they used materials found on-site to build out their space!
Brick West Brewing Co.
Brick West Brewing Co. is a great spot to get out of the house and enjoy a beer while watching the “big game!” Their indoor space features dozens of screens, so you’re sure to have a place to watch with your friends. Additionally, their huge park-facing patio is ideal for an outdoor hang-out, with food trucks available every Monday for their seasonal evening market! Brick West is passionate about craft beer and sticks to the fundamentals of brewing and stylistic guidelines–they truly believe that less is more. This Spokane brewery serves delicious hot dogs and is a great place to bring the kids along, they are very family-friendly!
One Tree Hard Cider
If beer isn’t your thing and you prefer a sweeter alternative, you’ll be sure to love One Tree. While being made with local Washington apples, One Tree’s hard cider combines local fruit with other ingredients to form delicious combinations like Lemon Basil or Huckleberry. But don’t be fooled, they are infamous for coming up with unique, delicious seasonal ciders like Peach Tea, Pumpkin, and Cranberry. Their 20 taps (yes, you read that right!) are always rotating with the best northwest ciders and perries (cider made from pears!) Hungry? Try one of their unique appetizers and house-made pizzas (gluten-free and vegan options available!)
Four-Eyed Guys Brewing
While Four-Eyed Guys wooed us with their craft brews and butter boards, this brewery seems to have no limits. Four-Eyed Guys offers several house-made seltzers in unique flavors for those who prefer a gluten-free or lower-calorie alternative, while also enjoying a deliciously satisfying food menu. Also, keep an eye on their ever-changing experimental taps! They will have you coming back weekly
